This agreement represents the terms and conditions between Participants and Indiephotoplay. Before participating, participants who are willing to take part in any competition on our website (www.indiephotoplay.com) must agree to the following terms and conditions:
Photography Competition Terms and Conditions
Anyone can participate in the competition from anywhere in the world only through the website www.indiephotoplay.com
1.) Eligibility:
a)The competition is open to everyone of all skill levels, aged 13+ years and above.
2.) Timeline of Competitions:
a) All the competitions will start on the 1st day of every month, the Submission day will be the 25th of every month, and results will be announced on the last day of every month (29th, 30th, or 31st respectively).
3.) Entry Deadline:
a) All entries must be submitted on or before the last day/date mentioned on the submission page, Indian Standard Time (GMT+5:30). Entries received after this date and time will not be considered.
4.) Entry Requirements:
a) You are allowed to join more than one competition in the same or other categories at the same time, each participation may cost you respectively.
b) Entries must be original photographs, taken by the participant.
c) Any form of alteration to the photograph, including but not limited to digital manipulation, is not allowed.
d) Photographs must not contain any watermarks or identifying marks.
e) Entries must be submitted in a still picture format. JPG, JPEG, and. PNG with a maximum file size of 10MB.
5.) Copyright:
a) By submitting an entry, participants agree that they are the sole owner and author of the photograph and hold all rights to it.
b) Participants retain the copyright to their photographs. However, by entering the competition, participants grant Indiephotoplay Private Limited the non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, and display the photographs for promotional purposes related to the competition, including but not limited to online galleries, social media, and print materials. You as a participant and the owner of the photograph can use it anywhere and anytime. It’s your property.
6.) Judging and Selection:
a) Participants will have a right to vote for their participated competition, once participated, the participant will have to get a chance to vote for two entries.
b) Participant may choose to vote as per their choices including themselves, once voted, it cannot be undone, so choose wisely. The participant can vote for their entries too.
c) For one participation, the participant will get two votes, you are allowed to participate more than one time in the same competition. But it voting rights will remain two.
d) Entries will be judged based on voting, creativity, composition, technical skill, and adherence to the theme.
e) The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding their decision.
7.) Notification of Winners:
a) Winners will be notified via email/social media handle/whatsapp immediately after the results.
b) Our team will contact the Winners personally. So kindly provide the correct contact details during the signup and submission.
8.) Prizes:
a) Prizes will be awarded to the top ten winners if the number of participants will be 100 or more, as follows:
1st Prize: INR 2000
2nd Prize: INR 1800
3rd Prize: INR 1600
4th Prize: INR 1400
5th Prize: INR 1200
6th Prize: INR 1000
7th Prize: INR 0800
8th Prize: INR 0600
9th Prize: INR 0400
10th Prize: INR 0200
b) If the number of participants are less than Twenty, point a) will not be applicable, the winner will be the one with the highest votes. Will be rewarded with INR 199, and coupon codes for next competition.
c) If the number of participation lands between 21 to 99, 30% of the total amount received will be given to the participant with highest votes.
d) The top participants will get the certificates.
e) Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other goods.
f) There is no prize money for the NO FEE CONTEST, but if you win yo will get coupons for the next month’s competition.
9.) Publicity:
a) By entering the competition, participants agree to participate in any publicity or promotion organized by Indiephotoplay Private Limited relating to the competition.
10.) Disqualification:
a) Indiephotoplay Private Limited reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions or is deemed inappropriate for any reason.
11.) Changes to Terms:
a) Indiephotoplay Private Limited reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will be notified to participants via displaying the changes on the home page, the old terms and conditions will be available in the archival tabs on the website.
12.) Governing Law:
a) These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
By submitting an entry to the competition, participants indicate their acceptance of these terms and conditions.
